About

Built for the business that takes the long view.

Our story

Why Grey Monks exists

Grey Monks was founded on a straightforward conviction: most businesses are worth more than they realize — and the gap between what they're worth today and what they could be worth is almost always a building problem, not a performance problem.

We bring a structured, evidence-based methodology to businesses and business owners who are serious about building something significant — not just profitable. And we do it as independent advisors, without conflicts, without a transaction agenda, and without shortcuts.

The name reflects our approach. Architects don't appear at the end of a project. They are there from the first conversation, shaping what gets built and why.

Leadership

The partners behind the work

Grey Monks is led by two partners with deep operating and advisory experience. We work alongside a broader team of advisors, legal and financial professionals, and domain specialists — assembled around each client engagement based on what the situation requires.

M. Eita — Partner, Grey Monks Value Architects
M. Eita Partner & Value Advisor CEPA®  ·  MBA  ·  CM

Eita is a Partner at Grey Monks, where he works with business owners to build measurable, transferable enterprise value — and to develop the clarity, structure, and readiness needed to navigate what comes next.

Over more than 20 years, Eita has built and led commercial, brand, and strategic marketing functions across global consumer goods, healthcare, and real estate markets. He has held senior roles at AbbVie Allergan Aesthetics, Red Bull, Mars, and Dubai Holding — organizations ranging from high-growth consumer brands to enterprises operating across more than a dozen markets. His work has consistently sat at the intersection of commercial strategy, market expansion, and organizational performance.

As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), Eita brings a structured methodology to the challenge of building businesses that are not just profitable, but genuinely valuable — with systems, teams, and commercial foundations that perform independently of any one individual.

He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and the Chartered Marketer designation from the Canadian Marketing Association. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Marketing at Geneva Business School.

Maged Elraheb — Partner, Grey Monks Value Architects
Maged Elraheb Partner & Value Advisor CEPA®

Maged Elraheb is a Partner at Grey Monks, where he helps business owners increase the value, resilience, and transferability of their companies — long before an exit is on the horizon.

Over more than 20 years, Maged has built, scaled, and transformed businesses across global markets — leading commercial strategy, revenue growth, pricing architecture, portfolio optimization, and business transformation for organizations ranging from growth-stage businesses to enterprises generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue. His work spans strategy, marketing, commercial excellence, and value creation, with a consistent focus on building stronger businesses rather than simply improving short-term financial performance.

As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), Maged works with owners to systematically close the gap between a company's current value and its full enterprise potential — combining strategic planning, operational improvement, and commercial optimization to strengthen the factors that drive transferable value, improve buyer attractiveness, and expand strategic options.

Before co-founding Grey Monks, Maged held senior leadership roles at Danone and Pfizer across North America, the Middle East, and Africa. He holds a degree in Economics and brings analytical rigour and practical operating experience to every engagement.

Our engagements draw on a broader network of advisors, legal counsel, financial planners, and domain specialists — assembled around each client's specific situation. We coordinate this team throughout the engagement to ensure that business, personal, and financial dimensions are developed in alignment, not in isolation.

What we believe

Our philosophy

Value is built, not assumed

The businesses worth the most have been built intentionally — with clear systems, strong teams, and assets that extend beyond any one person.

Clients deserve honest advice

We tell clients what they need to hear. That's the only kind of advisory relationship worth having — and the only kind we offer.

Process beats intuition

The Value Acceleration Methodology™ exists because systematic, measurable progress produces better outcomes than good intentions alone.

Significant over successful

A successful business generates good income. A significant business is ready, resilient, and valuable under almost any conditions. We help you build the second kind.
